Who it really helps are cab drivers, wait staff, restaurants, entertainment venues and hotels, mostly hotels. Of course all these things contribute tourist tax dollars. With those tax dollars Your elected officials can waste spend money on things that will only be used by a very small percentage of Orlando residents, like a Soccer Stadium and a performing arts center.
