The Polynesian Resort is themed in Tahitian decor and rainforest. Almost everywhere You go indoors and outdoors, You will hear running waterfalls. The 847 rooms at the Polynesian were all updated in 2013 and will stay updated long before Anyone notices that it is needed. The resort sits on the south side of the Seven Seas Lagoon and its shoreline is covered in pristine white sand. The lobby is an atrium that has a center piece that is a small sample of a rainforest, complete with waterfall. The gift shop is a trading post in that same theme. Restaurants follow the same Tahitian theme but You can get traditional American food at each of them. There is a casual restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating near the swimming pool that offers Adult and Kids choices at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of choices for beers and cocktails in the lobby and at poolside. You can easily take a day off the theme parks and spend it at the lobby, pool and beach, everything You need is here.
Even though the most convenient park is The Magic Kingdom, it is easy to reach the others. To get to Epcot You can take a monorail from the Magic Kingdom or the Transportation and Ticket Center. To get to Hollywood studios, You can do so by going through Epcot and taking a water taxi. Animal Kingdom can be reached via bus in the front of Your resort.
