The theme is 1940’s boardwalk from Atlantic City, NJ. The architecture for this theme is spot on as You would expect from Disney. The wooden boardwalk is very much like the 1940’s boardwalk except You will not trip from uneven boards. Disney has made this a replica but with modern safety and comfort. The Clown Slide at the pool is from the rides at the New Jersey boardwalk and looks like it came out of an old magazine.

The Resort is most convenient to Epcot and secondly to Hollywood Studios but the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom can be reached easily by Disney Buses that arrive every 10 – 20 minutes out the front of the Resort. You can also reach the Magic Kingdom by monorail by going through Epcot.
